Skettis dailies worthless now?

I never had a knack for bombing runs in general. I've gotten down the feel of doing the one in Blade's Edge, but it still feels unwieldly since you have to use the mouse for steering your character, looking around to the sides so you can aim, and actually targeting the strike point. Considering this is (for me) hard enough to do on the fly, I've never really bothered with the Skettis dailies since it usually didn't seem worth my time. At least with the Blade's Edge quests, I can do the Simon and round-up quests fairly quickly as well, and there are no mid-air obstacles to steer around.

I know some of you will say, "How can you pass on free gold???" The answer is that I'm not a big fan of daily quests, overall. While the idea behind them was great, and they have helped cut down on RMT in the game, it has come to the point where you have to do them routinely to keep up with the inflating economy. Thus, they aren't daily quests any more, they're daily chores. Regardless of how quickly they go, as soon as something becomes an obligation, it no longer becomes a fun factor for the game. I'm actually less-than-thrilled that there are now precisely half a zillion more daily quests added to the game, because this means that people determined to do every daily quest (and have the time to do so) will be making a lot of money while those of us who just log in to raid and do our best to keep our heads above water with consumable and repair costs are finding it harder to keep up...especially when inflation on the AH makes things cost more and more.

My main has about 500 gold to her name. You can certainly say that's my fault for not having more, and you would be correct. If you can call not dedicating all the time I have to grinding out money on my character. I try to balance my playtime, focusing on things I want to do, and also devoting some of that time to website stuff. With a 16-hour raid schedule, plus enough other things in my life, dailies as an expectation for combating costs is really just a drag. I'm doing them in the short run for 2.4 to help expand the town, but I have no doubt in another 2 weeks I'll get sick of the new ones as well (especially since the server really cannot handle the entire population doing these quests at the same time of day, which is what ends up happening.)
