Level 70 in 2 weeks?
Is it possible to become a level 70 in 2 weeks?
Some guy where I work came in today and heard me talking to a friend about WoW. He said oh yeah I play, so i asked what he had. He told me that it took him 2 weeks to get his Undead Warlock to level 70. Now this guy is in his late 20's and works full time and is married. Some how I think he might be telling fibs......? I also asked if he was just grinding and he said no I complete quests. Am I just lame at WoW or is he full of BS?

Very possible. People did it in a little under 2 weeks. I saw a level 65 D warrior last night. That shocked me a little.

Definetly possible. Completely crazy and I have no idea how to do it, but I've seen it on my server.
For me...I can't seem to motivate myself to get my 60 to 70 at all lol

That is well over 2 weeks though and you might find that he sits online most of the day. This guy would only be online at the most 5-6 hours a day. It really annoyed me and it was blatant he was lying. My friend here thinks maybe is was trying to impress me lol Girl gamers get some grief.

Not sure how that relates to this as much and i'm confused by it.
EDIT:
Sorry i was thinking of a different post.
it's possible if you spend from the time you log in to the time you log out to level that fast...or he got power leveling.

Cob hit 69 within a week of the launch of BC (he has a post on the front page of this site about it) and he was 70 within a couple days of that. Albiet he took a week of vacation from work to do it...
Post-60 it seems like a level per 12 hours played is pretty good, you could probably average 10 hours a level if you were really hardcore about it and knew the quests well so you didn't waste too much time traveling about. Doing the math, probably not in just 5 a night over two weeks (unless those were some really hardcore weekend level grinds), but easily do-able within a month of launch.

I also took a week off from vacation to do it.
I was approx the 5th hordie to hit lvl 61 on my server, but after lvl 62 I chose to go sleep instead. For 60-70 FAST, you really need a solid 5man wrecking crew, head into the dungeons and just finish out a run every 45mins.
I was the first in my guild to hit 70, but no means anywhere close to the first person to hit 70. Just because you are married and have a fulltime job doesn't mean you can't stay up late late late, or that your marriage life is healthy. I basically lived like a caveman leveling to 70, and while it's nice to have it over with, I certainly wouldn't go that route again.

Ok so I guess it is possible. I try to balance WoW life and married life equally, but somehow WoW gets more attention lol

I just heard that the level cap is being raised to 80. Cob you better call off a week from work and load up on hot pockets! Your wife will understand that your electronic character is more important then her.
Lol, i think she should use the parental controls on you.

Default levling
I've asked the manager at my local EB games about this 2 weeks thing and he said sometimes people go to the power leveling sites and then someone say in Pakistan or another foriegn country. ( I' m not knocking anyones nationality here), plays the toon with other people possibly 24/7.
I've seen those sites as spam while playing and I'm not saying it's a bad idea. 2 weeks after the expansion came out I did see a lvl 70 BE in UC.
Power lvling might work for some people, but it's just not for me. I pay good money for the game and monthly subscriptions, and I like to enjoy the game as well via farming, raids, questing, or just hanging out somewhere.
